1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GiraffyReach Auto-Apply Chrome extension (the "Extension"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms and to the Auto-Apply Extension Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension. These Terms supplement — and do not replace — the main GiraffyReach Terms of Service that govern your GiraffyReach account.
2. What the Extension Does
The Extension runs inside your own web browser and helps you complete job applications on third-party applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, and iCIMS. It reads your GiraffyReach profile and tailored resume and fills the corresponding fields on the application page you are on. Where an ATS requires you to verify an account with a one-time code sent to your email, and you have connected your email for this purpose, the Extension may read only that one-time code or verification link in order to complete the verification step. It does not read any other email. This is described in full in the Auto-Apply Extension Privacy Policy.
3. The Extension Acts on Your Behalf
The Extension is a tool that acts on your behalf, on third-party websites, at your direction. When it fills a form, it is acting as an extension of you — the same way a browser autofill or password manager does. You are responsible for your job applications and for your conduct on the third-party sites you use the Extension on. The Extension automates data entry only. It does not represent that any application will be accepted, reviewed, or result in an interview or offer.
4. You Review Before You Submit
The Extension never submits an application for you. It fills fields; you review them. Before submitting any application, it is your responsibility to: • Check that every field the Extension populated is accurate, complete, and appropriate for the specific role. • Correct anything that is wrong, outdated, or that the form asked for differently. • Answer any employer-specific or screening questions honestly and in your own words. • Click submit yourself when — and only when — you are satisfied the application is correct. You are solely responsible for the content of anything you submit to an employer.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and only to submit genuine applications for roles you are personally interested in and eligible for. You agree not to: • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in an application. • Use the Extension to submit spam, bulk, or bad-faith applications, or to harass employers. • Use the Extension on behalf of anyone other than yourself, or to impersonate another person. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, resell, or misuse the Extension. • Use the Extension in any way that violates the terms of service of an ATS or employer website, or any applicable law. We may suspend or disable your access to the Extension if you violate these Terms.
6. No Bypassing Security or CAPTCHAs
The Extension is designed to assist you, not to defeat site protections. It does not solve, bypass, or circumvent CAPTCHAs, bot-detection systems, rate limits, logins you are not entitled to, or any other security or access-control measure on a third-party site. Where a site presents a CAPTCHA, a security check, or a step that requires a human, you must complete that step yourself. The Extension will not attempt to automate around it.
7. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Extension operates on websites and services operated by third parties (ATS providers and employers), and it uses an authorized email-connection provider (Composio) to read one-time verification codes when you enable that feature. We do not control those third parties, and your use of their sites is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party site or service.
8. No Warranty
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every ATS or every version of every application form. Form layouts change frequently and the Extension may not fill every field correctly — which is exactly why you must review every application before submitting it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GiraffyReach and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, employment, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Extension — including any application that was submitted with incorrect information, missed, duplicated, or rejected. Because the Extension does not submit applications for you and you review each one before submitting, you accept responsibility for what you submit.
10. Changes and Termination
We may update, change, or discontinue the Extension, or update these Terms, at any time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Extension at any time by signing out and uninstalling it from Chrome.
