Grainger Engineering's Fall 2026 Virtual Career Fair runs Wednesday, October 7 from 11 AM to 3 PM on the Career Fair Plus platform, following the in-person fair held September 9-10 at State Farm Center. Students book timed video sessions with employers through Handshake. Open to Grainger Engineering students including CS and ECE.

UIUC engineering and CS students, especially those who could not attend the in-person fair or want a second conversation with a target employer.
Virtual fairs reward people who book slots the moment they open, so log in early and schedule your top companies first. Treat each video slot like a screening call: camera on, quiet room, resume open. Ask about sponsorship in the first two minutes since virtual recruiters have a queue and will not circle back. Follow every session with a same-day email referencing something specific they said.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
