UNT's Frisco campus fair draws employers from the Frisco and Plano corridor, which now hosts a large share of DFW's corporate tech headquarters. Mixed majors, with a consistent CS and IT presence.

Mixed-major fairs are underrated for engineers. Ninety percent of the line is business majors, so the three companies that want a developer have nobody to talk to. Find them on the employer list first and walk straight there.
Show up prepared
- 1Pull the employer list from Handshake and filter to the ones listing CS or IT majors.
- 2Check which of those employers also appear in H-1B filings if you need sponsorship.
- 3Bring 10 copies of the resume. Campus fairs still take paper.
Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
