What this event is
A community-run, free AWS conference at the AWS Builder Loft with a morning main stage, two afternoon tracks, sponsor presence and a student showcase. It closes with finals of an Agentic AI hackathon that runs September 29 to October 13, with the top eight teams demoing at 4:15 PM. Seats are limited and registration is via the AWS events page linked from the site.

Cloud, backend and ML engineers who want to meet AWS staff, sponsor companies and active builders in one day.
This is not a job fair, and that is exactly why it works: sponsors and AWS teams are there to talk shop, and hiring conversations happen naturally at the round tables. Enter the hackathon if you can; demoing on the main stage in front of every sponsor is the best resume you will show all year. Bring questions about real architectures, not 'are you hiring.' AWS itself is a major H-1B sponsor, but sponsor startups vary, so ask.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
