What this event is
SJSU's October fair is an all-majors job and internship fair in the Student Union Ballroom. Registration is through Handshake, and the Career Center's fall fairs typically draw hundreds of students and dozens of employers.

Who should go
SJSU students in CS, software engineering, computer engineering and data science who missed the September STEM fair.
This is the general fair, so expect a mixed employer list; scan Handshake ahead of time and only queue for companies with real engineering openings. SJSU recruiters are used to a large international student population, so asking 'do you sponsor?' will not surprise anyone, and a clear no saves you an hour. Show up at 11 AM sharp; the tech booths thin out by 1 PM. Pair this with the Zipline session that evening for a full day of contact-making.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
