What this event is
UVA's largest all-industries recruiting event runs October 22 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Newcomb Hall. It is open to students of all majors, schools and class years seeking internships or full-time roles, and registration is through Handshake.

UVA students who missed the September engineering and tech fairs, or who want the corporate and consulting employers that only come to the all-industries fair.
The engineering fair in September was the better software event; this one is broader, but the big consultancies and finance-tech shops that skip the engineering fair come here, and many of them sponsor. Skip the government and nonprofit rows unless you are a citizen. Ask each recruiter which specific team is hiring engineers; at a general fair, half the reps are HR generalists and you want the one who can name a hiring manager.
