Virginia Tech's Career Connections virtual fair for technology, engineering, data and built-environment employers runs October 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM on Handshake. It is open to Virginia Tech students and lets them book sessions with recruiters in those sectors.

Virginia Tech CS, CMDA and engineering students who missed the September Expo or want a second round with tech and data employers.
Virtual fairs on Handshake work only if you book sessions early: the good employers' slots go within a day of opening. Grab them the moment registration opens and prepare a different question for each. The employer mix mirrors the Expo, so plenty of defense and government contractors who will not sponsor; prioritize the commercial tech and data companies. Turn your camera on, use a plain background, and have your resume open to share.
