What this event is
Columbia's undergraduate Engineering, Tech & AI Career Fair runs Friday, October 2, 2026 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Lerner Hall. Recruiters and alumni from 45-plus firms across engineering and technology attend, and the fair is open to all majors and class years. HNTB and other employers have already listed it on their campus schedules.

Columbia undergrads, especially juniors hunting summer 2027 internships and seniors targeting new-grad roles.
This is the highest-yield day of the fall for Columbia undergrads, so treat it like an interview, not a walk-through. Alumni at the tables are your leverage; ask them how they got in, then ask for a referral. New-grad sponsorship is tightening everywhere, so confirm the employer's policy at the table rather than after you have burned an application. Follow up with a specific line about what you discussed within 24 hours.

Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
