What this event is
NYU's Fall 2026 Careers in Technology Fair is Friday, October 9, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM in person at 133 East 13th Street. It is run with NYU Tandon and is designed for employers recruiting undergraduate and graduate students in engineering, technology, computer science and data science. Students register through Handshake.

Who should go
NYU and NYU Tandon students and recent grads in CS, data science, cybersecurity and engineering.
This is the one NYU fair that is purely technical, so the employer mix is strong and the recruiters are there for you specifically. Arrive at 3 sharp; recruiters are sharpest in the first 90 minutes. Bring a portfolio link on your resume and be ready to talk about one project in depth. Ask each table about sponsorship early; the ones who say yes without hesitation are the ones to follow up with hard.
Show up prepared

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
