WomenHack's New York event on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 7 PM puts women and non-binary technologists across the table from 15–20 hiring companies in rapid 5-minute rounds. Candidates apply for an invite and WomenHack vets applications before sending confirmations. The event is free for candidates; employers pay to attend.

Who should go
Women and non-binary engineers, designers, data scientists and PMs with roughly 2 to 15 years of experience.
The speed format rewards a tight pitch, so rehearse 60 seconds that ends with the role you want. Employer lists are shared close to the date; check it and skip the tables that do not fit. Sponsorship depends entirely on who shows up; ask in the first 30 seconds so you do not waste a round. Apply early because invites go out on a rolling basis.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
