Triangle Tech Net meets Friday, October 16 from 7:30 to 9:30 AM in Cary. The agenda is open networking, round-robin introductions with an attendance sheet, then breakout sessions on certifications, personal branding and leadership. Attendees include job seekers, career changers, recruiters and hiring managers; admission and parking are free.

The introductions round is the whole event: you get 20 seconds in front of everyone, so say your role, stack and target company type. Grab the attendance sheet contacts and follow up the same day while names are fresh. This crowd is mostly local IT and consulting shops, so sponsorship is a long shot; confirm before investing time. Doors close at 8:15, so be early.
