What this event is
WomenHack's Raleigh event is Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The format is check-in and happy hour, short keynotes, then rapid 5-minute speed-interview rotations with hiring companies. The company lineup is still being finalized; register to be notified as employers confirm.

Who should go
Women in tech in the Triangle with at least one shipped project or a year of experience.
Speed rounds reward a rehearsed 60-second story: what you built, what stack, what you want next. You do not pick the companies, so the value is in how many rounds you do; stay for all of them. Sponsorship depends entirely on which employers show, so wait for the lineup email and check each company's H-1B history before you go. Apply for the invite now; approvals are curated and late applicants get waitlisted.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
