WomenHack San Diego
WomenHack has run San Diego recruiting nights before; no fall date yet, apply so you get the invite.
San Diego, CA
What this event is
WomenHack hosts recurring invite-only evenings where women technologists meet 15 to 20 inclusive employers in rapid one-on-one rounds. The San Diego page currently shows no upcoming event for this city; the nearest scheduled editions are Los Angeles on November 5 and San Francisco on October 22, 2026.
Roles you will actually see
Who should go
Women in software, data and product who want a curated employer room and can travel to LA if San Diego is not scheduled.
No San Diego date is posted yet, so do not wait: apply for the free invite now and you will be notified the moment one is announced. If you are flexible, the Los Angeles night on November 5 is a two-hour drive and draws a stronger employer list than San Diego usually does. Format is the same as HackerX, five minutes per company, so prep the same tight pitch. Sponsorship varies by employer; the company list posts a week out, so check it before you drive.
Show up prepared
- 1Apply for a WomenHack invite and select San Diego plus Los Angeles.
- 2Set a reminder to recheck the San Diego page in mid-October.
- 3Prepare a 60-second pitch and a one-page resume.
Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
Showing up is half of it.
The other half is being first to the roles these employers post, and having something real to show when you get there.
See roles the minute they go live, tailor one resume per employer, and reach the hiring manager directly. Walk into the event as a follow-up, not a stranger.
