What this event is
SASE's national convention runs October 1–3, 2026 at the Seattle Convention Center with 40+ workshops and a STEM career fair featuring 50+ employers hiring for internships, co-ops and full-time roles. The fair is open to students from any institution. Announced corporate participants skew toward aerospace, energy and construction, with tech employers mixed in.

Who should go
Students and new grads in CS, CE or EE who want a large multi-employer fair the week before UW's own events.
This is a big fair but not a pure software fair, so scan the employer list before paying. Aerospace and industrial names like Blue Origin and GE Aerospace hire embedded and systems developers, and many of those roles ask for citizenship or export-control eligibility, so international students should read the fine print at each booth. Use it as a warm-up: get your pitch tight here, then hit the UW and Allen School fairs the following week.

- 2Print 15 one-page resumes and bring a QR code to your GitHub
- 3Register for the Saturday career-fair-only pass if you do not want the full conference
Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
