What this event is
WomenHack's October 15, 2026 Seattle event starts at 7 PM and runs in its signature rapid-interview format, with candidates meeting up to 15 employers in five-minute one-on-one rounds after a networking happy hour. It is free for candidates and invite-only; applicants are screened before receiving an invitation. Employers have historically included Amazon, Salesforce and LinkedIn.

Women software engineers, data scientists and designers with two or more years of experience who are actively looking.
This format works if you are mid-level and can sell yourself in five minutes; it is weaker for new grads because most sponsoring companies bring recruiters for experienced roles. Apply early since invitations are curated and Seattle fills up. Sponsorship depends entirely on which employers buy tables, and the list is only revealed close to the date, so email WomenHack and ask before you commit your evening.

Sponsorship reality
Sponsorship varies by employer. No organizer publishes sponsorship. Check each employer you plan to meet against H-1B disclosure data before you go, and ask in the first two minutes so neither side wastes the conversation.
Showing up is half of it.
